Delete Account and Data

From inside the app

Open Settings, scroll to Delete account and data, and confirm. This is immediate and cannot be undone.

What is erased

• Your device registration and its credential on our server.
• Your saved vehicles and their calibration.
• Any purchase record held on our server.
• Your customer record at RevenueCat, which processes purchases for us: its purchase history and its record of which purchase screen you saw. RevenueCat carries this out shortly after; if it cannot be reached at that moment, we keep retrying until it confirms.
• The app-integrity key registered for your iPhone, if any.
• Your device's notification token and notification choices, if any.
• The copies of all of the above stored on your device.

What is not erased

Purchases you already own remain with Apple or Google; we cannot delete a record held by a store. Encrypted backups of our server are deleted after at most 180 days, so your records can remain in older backups until then; they are used only to recover the server after a failure. If you reinstall, Restore Purchases brings your entitlement back, and RevenueCat then records the restored purchase again under your new account. Deleting your data does not refund a purchase; see Refunds.

If you no longer have the app

Write to supportmerclight.app with the order number of a purchase you made in the app. We use it to find the account the purchase belongs to, and erase everything listed above. We reply within 30 days, and we may ask you to confirm the request from the email address the store's receipt was sent to.

• Google Play: the order number starting GPA., in your receipt email or your Google Play order history.
• App Store: the Order ID in your receipt email or at reportaproblem.apple.com.

If you never bought anything, we cannot tell your installation apart from anyone else's from an email, so we cannot find it. It is removed automatically: an installation our server has not seen for 12 months is deleted, and the account it was linked to follows.
