A small selection of effects is free and requires no purchase, so you can see the app work on your own car before deciding.
Passes
A pass starts when the store completes your purchase and ends exactly 3 or 30 days later. It does not renew, does not turn into Lifetime, and cannot be paused. It covers one car: the first car you play a paid effect on while the pass runs. That car cannot be changed for that pass; another pass covers another car.
Lifetime and your cars
Every car you play a paid effect on is added to your account. There is no limit on how many, and a car is never removed to make room for another. The Lifetime upgrade and the Lifetime offer give exactly what Lifetime gives. "Lifetime" means for as long as we provide MercLight.
Our server is part of the service
Every effect, free or paid, needs an internet connection when it starts: the unlock that lets the app control your car's lights is computed on our server, and our server decides what your purchase covers. If our server cannot be reached, effects do not start until it can. If we ever end the service, the effects that need our server stop working; we will say so in the app and on this website.
Billing
All purchases are processed by Apple or Google. We never see your payment details. Prices are shown by the store in your local currency before you confirm.
Restoring
Use Restore Purchases on the purchase screen. It brings back what you bought with the same Apple ID or Google account, on any phone, with no car connected. A pass keeps its original end date. Purchases do not move between stores: a purchase made on the App Store does not unlock the Android app, and one made on Google Play does not unlock the iPhone app.
